[Day 1/7] What's your superpower?
I know what you think:
Social media is way oversaturated I will never have a chance.
And that is because creating content without a plan,
is like inviting people to an empty store.
Nothing to offer or sell.
Leaving you to think:
"Where the hell is my food"
Maybe an over-exaggeration but the point is that:
I've been there…
When I started creating my Minecraft clips on TikTok I barely hit 40 views,
(thanks, Mom).
I was making content but with no real direction.
Which leads me into…
The Power of Niche
I remember talking to someone (let's call him Ben),
who wanted to make faceless motivational videos but had no monetization plan.
Turns out, Ben was a real Notion wizard.
Suddenly, we had a goldmine:
sharing knowledge, building an audience, and selling Notion templates.
Here is the sauce you need to ask yourself:
-What am I good at?
-What do I want to teach?
-Is this skill something people would pay for? (check competition)
"BuT I hAvE NoThInG VaLuAbLe To OfFeR"
I hear you scream.
Well…
I felt the same way.
My Minecraft clips surely weren't special,
and I didn't think I had any expertise.
But everyone has something they're good at.
You just need to identify it.
I realized I had become good at fooling the teachers with ChatGPT,
and that became my thing.
(the bar is not high to start)
Value-Driven Content
Your content should offer real value,
not motivational fluff, Ronaldo clips, or Kids clips
(kinda sus ngl)
Instead, share actionable insights, solve problems, and provide useful tips.
Your goal is to attract an audience interested in what you have to offer.
I like to think of it as:
"you are what you eat",
meaning people are the type of content they consume.
Want to sell something?
Make sure your content attracts the right buyers.
Picture this: You're selling top-notch gym equipment,
but your content is all about cute sweaters for cats.
I mean, sure, it might be entertaining,
but chances are, your audience isn't exactly the "pump iron" type,
ya know what I mean?
On the flip side…
If your content is packed with workout tips,
nutrition advice, and motivational stories from buff dudes and dudettes,
you're gonna attract a crowd that's all about gains and getting swole.
And guess what?
They're way more likely to snatch up your gym gear faster than you can say "protein shake."
So, the moral of the story is:
Make sure your content aligns with what you're trying to sell.
Otherwise,
you might end up with a bunch of confused cat ladies wondering why you're peddling dumbbells.
My Journey: From Zero to Success
When I started,
I was that guy posting random stuff without a plan.
(Rookie mistake, right?)
It took me MONTHS to realize I needed to niche down,
and focus on what I was actually good at.
Once I started sharing real value, insights, tips, and lessons learned,
things went CRAZY!!!
From 40 views to THOUSANDS,
and suddenly my content was making an impact.
I went from being just another face in the crowd,
(well, technically, no face since I'm all about that faceless content life),
to becoming the go-to guy in my niche.
People started recognizing me,
sliding into my DMs, and even asking for advice.
It was wild!
And you know what?
It all started with finding my niche and sticking to it like glue.
No more bouncing around from topic to topic like a caffeinated squirrel.
-I focused on what I was good at,
-what people wanted to learn,
-and what I could potentially sell down the line.
So, if you're feeling stuck or lost in the sauce,
just remember:
Niche is key.
Find your thing, stick to it,
and watch your content blow up like a balloon at a birthday party.
Research Your Niche
Look at the big dogs in your niche.
No competition? This might not be profitable.
But if you see others killing it,
that's your GREEN LIGHT.
Competition means there's money to be made.
Action Steps
1 - Define your niche: What's your superpower?
2 - Validate your niche: Is there money to be made?
3 - Create value-driven content: Share tips, solve problems, be the go-to expert.
Embracing Imperfection
Look...
Your first posts are gonna SUCK.
That's just facts.
But what matters is showing up consistently and providing value.
You'll get better - trust me.
Remember Ben, our wannabe motivational guru?
By focusing on his Notion skills,
he's now planning KILLER tutorials and templates that'll actually sell.
This pivot is gonna grow his audience and his bank account.
So…
Make sure your content is the irresistible smell that draws people in.
Over the next 7 days,
I'm gonna be your personal guide to building a KILLER brand.
Tomorrow,
we're diving into how to create content that makes people stick around.
