Here's Your First Customer!
Most creators get stuck on the same two questions when building products:
"What should I create?"
"Who should I create it for?"
They spend weeks researching markets, analyzing competitors,
and trying to find the "perfect" product idea.
But after helping over 200 creators, I've noticed something:
The best products always come from creators who can relate to their customer the most.
So who should you create your first (or next) product for?
Yourself.
But in two specific ways:
Way 1: Build for your past self
Package knowledge you've gained for the person you used to be with the problems you used to have.
My Faceless Formula was built exactly this way.
I took all my knowledge on creating AI content and monetizing it,
and put it together as if it was for my past self.
Because I knew exactly how much that would have been worth to me when I was starting out.
Way 2: Build for your current self
Create something you genuinely want to use right now.
For example, I've been Vibecoding a few simple tools for myself these past couple days.
I'm building them for myself to solve my own problems,
then if it turns out to eventually become an amazing product that helps me out a ton,
I already know people would pay for it as I (at that point) would have myself.
When you're your own ideal customer,
you skip the hardest part of product creation: understanding the customer.
As you know what solutions you'd pay for.
You know how to talk about the problem because you've lived it.
So before you spend weeks researching the "perfect market," ask yourself:
What would you have paid for to know six months ago?
and or:
What product do you wish existed right now?
Start there.
Or start by scheduling a call with me below to monetize your current audience way better;)
