Man, I remember feeling screwed,

0 knowledge with just a dream of making it online.

Here are the three most expensive lessons I learned building my content business:

Lesson 1: It's All A Knowledge Game

"Some creators just got lucky."

That's what I used to think.

Truth is, there's no such thing as luck.

Most creators just post and post, hoping for a viral hit.

But consistent posting without learning?

That's just repeating mistakes.

The real growth comes from:

• Learning from each post

• Investing in knowledge

• Studying those ahead of you

If you're consistent but not growing,

Instagram isn't "hating" you.

You're missing key knowledge.

Lesson 2: Mindset Matters Most

Your biggest opponent?

Your own beliefs.

"Will this even work?"

"Am I wasting my time?"

"Maybe I'm just not cut out for this."

I battled these thoughts daily.

But here's what I learned:

It WILL work if you're willing to:

Never quit, Keep learning,

and…

Genuinely believe it will work before it does.

Lesson 3: Build For The Long-Term

This was my biggest shift:

Understanding Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).

Don't chase quick wins:

• One-off brand deals

• Single product sales

• Viral reels

Instead:

Implement monthly subscriptions over one-time payments,

build long-term brand partnerships,

and focus on the value delivered in your content.

Because a $100 one-time payment is a win,

but a $50/month subscription builds wealth.

Each new customer becomes part of your foundation.

Not just revenue - but GROWTH.

In a job you work for a month, and get paid a portion of your work put in.

With a business you’ll sometimes just have to continue to plant the seeds until you can harvest the whole forest.
