🟡 What I Wish I Knew

Hey friend,

Campaign's officially closed.

The 9 spots are gone, and I'm pumped to start working with these creators.

Today's email? No pitch. No sales. No CTAs.

Just pure value and a bit of my story I've never shared before.

Let me take you back to August 2023...

I was sitting in my bedroom, staring at my school computer.

40 views on my latest video. 200 followers total. $0 in revenue.

I was about to quit.

After all, I'd been posting for months with basically nothing to show for it.

But that night, something clicked.

I realized I was making the same mistakes over and over again:

  1. Creating content with no clear funnel

  2. Thinking views = money

  3. Being "creative" instead of strategic

So I completely changed my approach.

And I want to share exactly what I did, in case you're in that same spot right now.

Lesson #1: Focus on conversion, not views

My first viral hit got 1.5 million views.

Know how much money it made me?

Exactly $3. (Thanks for the donation, Daniel 😂)

The problem wasn't my content.

It was that I had no system behind it.

Now, every piece of content I create has ONE clear purpose:

  • Gaining followers

  • Pushing YT videos

  • Pitching my service

  • Or growing the readers on here

That's it. No vanity metrics. Just conversion.

Lesson #2: Automate, Delete, Outsource

When I started, I was spending 8+ hours on EACH video.

Scripting. Recording. Editing. Posting. Engaging.

It was exhausting.

Now? My entire system is automated & outsourced:

  • AI for Ideation

  • AI for scripting

  • Outsourcing the video editing

  • Automations to get more leads/followers

  • Systems to nurture my audience

Now I make a weeks worth of content in one sitting.

The system handles the rest.

Lesson #3: Build something YOU would buy

Most creators are selling BS stuff they wouldn't buy themselves.

Generic courses. Weak templates. Free information with a pricetag.

I remember the exact moment I decided to change this.

I was about to launch my first product, and I asked myself:

"Would I pay for this?"

The answer was no.

So I scrapped it. Started over.

Made countless versions until I felt like I’d built something I'd genuinely pay 10x the price for.

That product? Still top 5 on Gumroad in the social media niche.

Because you can always work on optimizing your sales page etc,

but when you know it will help the person and be well worth it for them,

you wont have to try hard to get sales.

These three shifts changed everything for me.

So I hope something in here helps you on your journey.

Whether we ever work together or not, I genuinely want to see you win.

-Stay awesome💪

P.S. I enjoy writing these with a coffee next to me. Thinking about sending ‘em out every other day or so. If you have suggestions for what I should touch on next just hit the reply and I’ll make it happen;)
